When you submit a review:
- Email address — Required to verify unique reviewers. Never displayed publicly.
- Voice recording — Audio of your review, stored and publicly playable.
- Transcript — Text version of your review, displayed publicly.
- Name — Optional, displayed with your review if provided.
- Social handle — Optional, displayed with your review if provided.
When you claim a product:
- Work email — Used to verify domain ownership.
- Payment information — Processed by Stripe; we do not store card details.
Automatically collected:
- IP address and browser information (standard server logs)
- Pages visited and actions taken on the Service
How We Use Your Information
- Display your reviews publicly on the Service
- Count unique reviewers to unlock product listings
- Verify product ownership claims
- Process payments for paid services
- Send transactional emails (login links, claim verification)
- Improve and maintain the Service
We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.
Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored on secure servers (Railway, Cloudflare R2)
- Voice recordings are stored in cloud storage with public URLs
- Emails are hashed for counting purposes where possible
- We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS)
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Cloudflare — CDN and security
- Railway — Hosting and database
- OpenAI — Voice transcription (audio sent to OpenAI Whisper API)
- Resend — Transactional emails
- Stripe — Payment processing
Each service has its own privacy policy. By using wdyrt, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by these services.
Your Rights
You may:
- Request a copy of your personal data
- Request deletion of your account and reviews
- Update or correct your information

Data Retention
Reviews and associated data are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. Account data is retained while your account is active. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only for authentication (session cookies). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service.
